Paramedic student receives $18,150.00 award
Michael Hull was this year’s recipient of the Ian William
Campbell Memorial Scholarship Award for Canadian Therapeutic
College’s 2006 graduating paramedic class.
Ian Campbell was a student in Canadian Therapeutic College’s
inaugural Primary Care Paramedic Program. He died in a
tragic accident on March 21, 2006. Ian was a compassionate,
generous, selfless individual who was liked by all and lived
life to its fullest. He was a driven and hardworking person
with life experience which made him a natural leader.
Whatever Ian did, he did with passion.
The personality characteristics that Ian exhibited are those
that would have made him an excellent Paramedic. These same
characteristics are the reason that the Ian William Campbell
Memorial Scholarship Award was created. Ian worked hard for
everything he had and did not have the chance to enjoy the
rewards of his labour so the award was created to honour a
hard working student who exhibits the same characteristics
that Ian displayed.
The Ian William Campbell Memorial Scholarship Award is
provided by an anonymous donor in the name of the Campbell
family and consists of reimbursement of one full Canadian
Therapeutic College Primary Care Paramedic Program tuition
including the Materials Package.
Hull was the class valedictorian and also graduated at the
top his class. He is currently employed at a local patient
transfer service and is actively seeking full time EMS
employment
