Dear John: Thank you for the opportunity to express my appreciation to the Sports Injury Therapy Program and the Canadian Therapeutic College.

CTC has allowed me to expand far beyond the horizons than I ever thought possible. I found that the College’s largest assets are their faculty/staff and field/outreach programs.

I can remember many times the faculty staying after class to answer questions, or to help me master a difficult technique. On many occasions faculty assisted me in giving treatments to clients, on their own time, to help me better grasp the different applications of clinical skills.

I would have to say that one of the most rewarding experiences while at the Canadian Therapeutic College came from the field/outreach programs. These programs allowed me to apply my theoretical and clinical knowledge to real athletes and patients.

I am a cyclist who has worked in cycling shops all my life, so as you can imagine cycling plays an important role in my life. Each year while at the CTC I had the privilege of working at the Metro BMX Jam in Toronto. This is a professional competition for the best BMX riders in the world. This is the largest competition in BMX, even larger than the X-Games. Being able to take part in this every year led me to the greatest hi-light of my career so far. In March 2007 I received a telephone call from the organizers of Metro BMX Jam asking me to join them in Singapore for two weeks in April 2007. I spent those two weeks in beautiful Singapore working with the best BMX rides in the world. This was my dream job come to life! Since April I have had the opportunity to work on two additional major tours for Metro BMX Jam. So if you are wondering where CTC can take you, think globally…..
