Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)

Course Description:
This course builds on the knowledge base of the student from previous first aid courses. This course continues to increase the student’s knowledge in assessing more critically ill or injured patients and give the student piratical experience in the treatment of these illnesses and injuries. Manual, Wall Certificate and certification card are included in the course cost.

Course Objectives:
1.  Teach basic hands-on trauma care.
2.  Maintain Quality Assurance for EMR
3.  Provide basic training in trauma recognition and management
4.  Provide basic training in assessment skills and protocols

Course Prerequisites: Must have taken SFA and CPR 'C' within the last 3 years
